About me
Hi, I’m Kate, a trauma-informed somatic therapist, yoga and movement teacher, reiki energy practitioner and workshop facilitator.
I believe true healing begins with the quiet remembering of the body’s wisdom, a gentle return to the places within us that know how to soften, to feel, and to heal.
In my 1:1 sessions and embodied workshops, I hold sacred space for deep healing with a trauma-informed approach. My work weaves together mind, body and soul healing practices and ritual, rooted in nervous system regulation and emotional alchemy and the healing path I’ve walked through grief and trauma.
Together, we listen to what the body longs to release, the stress, the trauma, the unspoken story, the emotions you have been holding and gently invite it to unravel. This is a space to release, heal and reconnect with your body and your spirit, to awaken your innate capacity to self-soothe, to feel safe and calm again, and to return to the rhythm of your body’s natural energetic flow and balance.

What is Somatic therapy?
Somatic therapy is a type of therapy that focuses on the connection between the mind and body to help you process trauma and release stored stress and tension and emotions. It uses a combination of techniques such as breathwork, movement, mindfulness, self-regulation skills and processing techniques to support emotional regulation and healing.
It’s based on the understanding that difficult experiences—especially trauma—don’t just affect our thoughts, they also live in our bodies.
Somatic therapy creates a safe space to slow down, listen to your body, and begin to heal from the inside out.
